How does the free trial work?
Ask for a trial and we set up hosted Skald for your site within one working day. It runs for 30 days with every feature of your plan. No card is needed to start.
Is Skald free to self-host?
Yes. The Docker image is free to run on your own server, for your own sites and your clients' sites. Skald is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0. Offering Skald itself to others as a hosted service needs a commercial licence. Self-host Skald.
What counts as a site?
One website, measured from its own log or script tag, with its own dashboard tab.
What if I have more than 25 sites or very big logs?
Talk to us. Over about 1 million visits a month a site is Enterprise, and we tell you before anything changes.
Is yearly billing cheaper?
Yes. Paying yearly is 20% off the monthly price.
Do I need to remove Google Analytics?
No. Keep it for ad spend and Search Console for rank. Skald sits beside them and shows the traffic they cannot see. Skald as a Google Analytics alternative.
