Skald is made by Space-O Technologies, a software development and AI engineering company. Rakesh Patel, CEO of Space-O Technologies, built it.
It began as a tool for one question on our own website: is AI reading us, and does it send anyone? Read the full story of why Skald exists.
Licence
Source-available, free to self-host
- Free to self-hostRead, use, change and run it for your own sites or your clients' sites, including at work.
- Elastic License 2.0Offering Skald to others as a hosted or managed service needs a commercial licence: contact us.
Skald is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0. Because of the one limit on hosted services, ELv2 is not an OSI-approved open-source licence, and we do not call it one.
You can run it yourself today: follow the self-host install guide. If you would rather not run a server, join the beta of hosted Skald.
